One of the most affordable models in the range marketed by the Chinese manufacturer, this device is the ideal companion for all those who are looking for a mobile, clean, small and powerful source of electricity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But does it actually meet these specifications? In order to answer this question objectively, we have tested this small power station and here is our opinion on the Oukitel P2001E.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General presentation of the Oukitel P2001E<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With dimensions of 39.4 x 27.9 x 33 cm, this portable power station looks like a small beer crate, except that it weighs 22 kg, which is twice as much as a conventional beer crate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to make it easier to carry, the manufacturer has equipped it with two handles that are molded directly into the frame of the case, at both ends. However, considering the weight of the device, we think that a <strong>telescopic handle would have been even more practical.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A very interesting detail is that both handles have a <strong>storage compartment<\/strong>. This compartment can hold, for example, the charging cables and other small objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Part of the connectivity elements is located on the user side with the <strong>LCD screen <\/strong>and the mini LED light. The rest is positioned on the sides, with the ventilation grids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the Oukitel P2001 case is not <strong>waterproof<\/strong>, and only a few of these ports are protected. It is therefore recommended not to expose the device to moisture or dust. It has indeed :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6 AC ports (2000W continuous\/4000W peak; 100-120V);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 USB-A ports, 2 of which are 5V\/2.4A and 2 of which are OC3.0-18W (fast charging);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 USB-C ports, PD-100W;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 XT60 port, 12V\/10A ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 DC 5521 ports, 12V\/3A;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cigarette lighter socket, 12V\/10A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these 16 output outlets, the device also has two input ports: 1 AC outlet and 1 Anderson port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UPS mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a power outage, the Oukitel P2001E prevents your home's power supply from being interrupted. Thanks to its UPS mode, it switches from AC mode to battery mode when there is a power failure. In our tests, it only took a few milliseconds for this to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted that this feature normally only works with devices whose power does not exceed <strong>1100 W<\/strong>. However, our test showed that the device can hold up to <strong>1900 W continuously.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battery and autonomy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Oukitel P2001's battery is made up of <strong>48 LiFePo4 cells<\/strong> (lithium iron phosphate) . It has a capacity of 2000 Wh with <strong>2000 charge cycles<\/strong>. This means that the device must be recharged at least 2000 times before the battery loses 20% of its nominal capacity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With moderate use, this equates to a lifespan of about 12 years. Count on half that if you use it intensively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To get an idea of how long the battery will last, divide its capacity by the power rating of the device you want to power. For example, a 300 W device can run for about 7 hours (2000 Wh \u00f7 300 W).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, be aware that most appliances start out over-voltage before stabilizing at their rated power. For example, an air conditioner can start with 7 times its rated power. The way you use the appliance also determines the amount of energy it requires. For example, a computer consumes more power in high light than in low light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Charging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have 4 options for charging the Oukitel P2001E solar generator:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On mains\/domestic wall socket (2 h) at 1100 W max, AC100-120 V\/50 Hz, 10 A ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With solar panels (about 5 h on sunny days) at 500 W max, 12V-48V\/15A ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Via four electricity generators;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Via car cigarette lighter socket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Power<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Oukitel P2001E provides <strong>2000W continuously<\/strong>&nbsp;, 4000W peak and 1100W in UPS mode. <strong>Tip<\/strong>&nbsp;: In order to stay on this power line, always connect the most energy consuming device first. Then connect the others whose consumption is less and less important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note that although the generator discharge is normally limited to 2000 W, in fact, it is much higher continuously. However, as soon as it reaches 3000 W, it shuts down after a few seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LCD Screen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LCD screen of the device provides you, in real time, with data concerning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The power output;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Percentage of charge;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remaining discharge time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fan operation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operating temperature;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Output port operation, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The unit should operate <strong>between -10\u00b0C and 45\u00b0C<\/strong>. If it is outside this range, the display will show a warning sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A small drawback: when the screen is exposed to strong sunlight while the device is in full solar charge, it becomes difficult to read. This is due to the fact that the generator switches to low power mode when it is only connected to a solar panel. The intensity of the screen brightness then decreases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the <strong>mini LED lamp<\/strong>, it operates in one of the following 3 modes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Normal;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High brightness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SOS mode (flashing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this last mode, the lamp flashes at the rate of an SOS in Morse code. This can be very useful in an emergency situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Control<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Oukitel P2001 allows you to manually change its frequency and voltage. As for the frequency, you can switch from 50 to 60 Hz so that your electrical appliances are better protected.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To do this, simply press and hold the AC on\/off control button until the frequency flashes. Then press to toggle between the two frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For voltage, switch from 100V to 110V and vice versa by pressing the same button 10 times.
